The Stonehaven Course, a private championship 18-hole golf course, is one of the most exciting and challenging golf courses in the mid-Atlantic region.
Considered one of the best West Virginia golf courses, Stonehaven was ranked at the 3rd position amongst the golf courses in the state by Golf Digest’s 2009/2010 edition.
Designed by Tom Clark, The Resort at Glade Springs’ golf course was opened to visitors in 2003. It is a perfect complement to the legendary Cobb Course in terms of difficulty levels as well as unparalleled natural beauty surrounding the property. Consisting of 7,203 yards from the black tees, the Stonehaven Course has an amazing topography featuring a meandering path looping around both sides of the 69-acre Chatham Lake and through a forest of maple, beech, hickory, and breathtaking oak trees. There are striking rocks outcropping along the way, and extraordinarily dramatic elevation changes of up to 80 feet per hole. This West Virginia golf course also offers the greatest variety of par 3’s and par 5’s anywhere on the east coast.

Named one of the 100 Must Play Courses of the Mid-Atlantic by Washington Golf Monthly.
The spectacular Cobb Course offers a staggering range of variety with features including 51 sand bunkers, more than over 200 feet of elevation change, 8 lakes, and ever-shifting sun angles. Even the fairways have subtle slopes that will catch you by surprise!
This one-of-a-kind golf course at The Resort at Glade Springs was designed by the prolific golf course architect, George Cobb. Stretching over 7,121 yards from the black tees, the Cobb Course has strategically placed fairway bunkers that will surely put your golfing skills to test.
Cobb Course holds pride with its place among golf courses in West Virginia and all of North America. In fact, Golf Digest consistently ranks the Cobb Course among the top 5 in the state. It has also been acclaimed by Golf Magazine as the #1 golf course in West Virginia in 2007. The 16th hole of the course is considered to be one of the most outstanding holes. The 420-yard par 4 is the first of three remarkable finishing holes, and golfers are forced to carry water three different times.
One of the most celebrated West Virginia golf courses, the Cobb Course is home to the U.S. Open qualifier, the West Virginia Open, and the NCAA National Championships. The Resort at Glade Springs has now joined forces with the PGA TOUR, and the Cobb Course will again host the Prequalifier and Monday Qualifier for The Greenbrier Classic.

Overlooking Glade Creek Gorge, The Resort at Glade Springs’ Woodhaven Course is the newest of championship golf courses in West Virginia.
Within an hour’s drive from Charleston, this course is a favorite with both locals as well as vacationers in the state. Designed by the acclaimed golf course architect Tom Clark, the Woodhaven Course was completed in 2010.
This course prides itself on offering not just a majestic view of the gorge, but also spectacular mountainous terrain scenery. Created for the specific purpose of complementing Glade Springs' signature golf courses – the Cobb and theStonehaven – the Woodhaven Course is designed with returning nines with shelters at the farthest extremes of the routing. The course follows a path through stunning rock outcroppings, and a breathtakingly beautiful forest of maple, beech, oak, hickory, and huge rhododendrons.
This West Virginia golf course has two distinct nine-hole loops – one overlooks Glade Creek Gorge and plays up and down a series of swales, while the other journeys through a steeper valley that promises surprises at every turn. The natural rock gardens and the native areas not only add to the beauty of the course, but also test the player’s skill and ability to execute a strategic play.
