- Recreation includes a fully equipped health club open 24hrs, 2 outdoor swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 125’ water slide, an 850-foot lazy river, 8 luxury poolside cabanas, kids playground & water station, video game arcade, jogging trail, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. There is also Camp Omni for children ages 4-12.
- Golf groups and families also have the option to experience golf at night under the lights on the lighted Champions 9, Par 3 golf course. A great option for those who simply can’t get enough golf in during the day. Great for beginners or those who want to sharpen their short game. Open until 10:00pm.

Guestrooms
The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate has a variety of guestroom accommodations available:
- Run of House Guestrooms (standard deluxe resort guestroom). The Resort is comprised of king rooms and double/double rooms. Guestrooms will be assigned based on availability by our reservations department. If a room type requested is not available, the next comparable room type will be reserved for the guest.
- Two or Three Bedroom Villa Suites (features a kitchen with full size appliances and living area). A two-bedroom villa suite can accommodate up to four people each having their own bed, double occupancy. A three bedroom villa can accommodate up to six people.

For Greg Norman, internationally renowned golf champion, ChampionsGate was the perfect location to design 36 holes of world-class championship golf that surround the resort. Whether it’s the International course with its links design or the National course winding through citrus groves and stands of pines, ChampionsGate is a golfer’s delight. The convenience of walk-out golf and golf cart staging, right outside your meeting, makes this the perfect location for tournament play. ChampionsGate is home of the Del Webb Father/Son Challenge over the first weekend of December and is broadcast nationally on NBC-TV. ChampionsGate Golf Resort, a nationally acclaimed golf facility for world-class golf, offers 36 holes designed by International Golf Champion Greg Norman and is the World Headquarters of David Leadbetter Golf Academy. ChampionsGate is home to both the National and International Courses. Greg Norman designed the 36 holes of golf featured at ChampionsGate to offer golfers a blend of tradition and modern elements and to create a unique golf experience. Whether you choose to play the International, with its authentic links style golf reminiscent of the great courses of the British Isles, or the National with its traditional American style, you will experience a challenging round of golf.

The International Course - A little more famous and challenging, the International is an authentic links style, reminiscent of the great courses of the British Isles. The course features hard and fast playing surfaces, dramatic mounds or both sand and grass, scruffy roughs, firm fairways with ample bump and run opportunities and slick greens. The International offers a golf experience unlike any other in the Orlando area, but one that will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland. The International is also the course that the father’s and son’s tee it up during the Del Webb Father/Son Challenge. The course carries the highest rating in the state of Florida at 76.3 from the black tees a total 7363 Slope 143!
The National Course - Is a little more player friendly and a traditional tree lined American -style course, which is carved out of 200 acres of citrus groves and wetlands. It features and out and back design and offers lush gentle undulating and bunker-strategic fairways creative greens, trees and woods, with water coming into play on a half of dozen holes. 75.1 rating from the black tee 7128 yards and a slope of 133. Signature Hole #14-Par 3 Overlooking a wetland jungle with dense trees down the right and tall pines on the left. The good news is that the green is generous.

One of the very unique components of the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is the World Headquarters of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. David Leadbetter is recognized as the #1 golf instructor in the world, and his instruction staff consists of some of the world’s greatest teachers. When participating in a lesson at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, don’t be a bit surprised if you see TOUR Players such as; Ernie Els, Nick Price, Charles Howell III, Michelle Wie or Trevor Immelman working on their own game right alongside you!
